Meet Charles M'Biro – the award-winning hair expert, educator and founder of K-Bien.

When the pandemic closed salon doors, Charles opened new ones. Launching K-Bien in 2025, Charles is now on a mission to bring 30 years of trusted care for textured hair to life. 

Charles’ journey began in childhood, perfecting styles on his sisters’ hair. What started as a passion became a profession rooted in over three decades of experience caring for every hair type and texture. Over the years, Charles has worked with a range of conditions – from fragile and damaged to chemically treated and colour-processed hair. In the process, he has gained specialist insight into the products, the techniques and the science behind healthy hair.

Unlike other hair care brands that stem from personal hair struggles with one texture, Charles identified a need to pour his 30 years of award-winning experience revealing the true textures of wavy, curly and coily hair, into a product range that serves the full spectrum of signature strands.

K-Bien is powered by a deep commitment to texture-first care. Embracing personality over perfection, authenticity over trend, individuality over a monolith. Every client is an i-Kon in Charles’ chair.
